History

Established in 2005

Smokey Ridge BBQ began as a small roadside stand in Santa Ana, Illinois in 2005 by barbecue enthusiasts Harry and Emily. They focused on traditional smoking processes, locally sourced, high-quality meats, and a secret blend of spices. Smokey Ridge BBQ’s juicy, smoky brisket and perfectly glazed ribs won over customers from its early beginnings. The modest stand couldn’t keep up with demand as word of mouth spread. Quality and authenticity were maintained when Jake and Emily built their first brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2008. Smokey Ridge BBQ has grown to many locations while maintaining faithful to its beginnings. Harry and Emily, together with their amazing team, still oversee every aspect to ensure each dish reflects their passion for outstanding barbecue.
